Microsoft E3 2019 Conference Breakdown

Microsoft’s conference happened today. The studio showed off plenty of games coming within the next year for Xbox along with their future plans for the next generation.

Trailer for The Outer Worlds

Unknown game with an emphasis on choices to destroy or save the game’s world. A release date for Oct. 25 was given.

Trailer for Bleeding Edge

A third person action multiplayer game with a focus on competition.

A new top-down multiplayer game in the world of Minecraft out Spring 2020.

Trailer Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

A new trailer that shows gameplay and story elements. Out Nov. 11.

Trailer for adaption on Blair Witch

Based on the iconic horror movie, this game will be an FPS based on the same lore and world as the film.

Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date and Trailer

A reveal that Keanu Reeves will feature in the game as a character.

Out April 16, 2020.

Appears to be a sidescrolling game with exploration and building mechanics.

Game Pass Updates

A montage of a variety of games like Batman Arkham Knight and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is coming to Xbox Game Pass, some of the heavy hitters like Batman are available now.

Game Pass for PC comes for $9.99 a month. Another edition called Game Pass Ultimate gets you access for your console, PC, and gold for Xbox Live. You can get it today for $1 to try out. A full price is unknown.

The trailers shown showed off story elements along with the new game mode, Escape. The new mode involves a team going to plant a bomb in a hive and trying to escape.

Pre-order to get a Terminator skin along with access to play four days early or have Game Pass.

Tech test coming July 17, Aug. 19 for horde mode access and more to be shown later.

Gears of War 5 comes out exclusively for Xbox on Sept. 10.

Elite Controller

A new and improved elite controller will have better precision than the previous.

Forza Horizon 4: LEGO Speed Champions

The lego expansion will give players access to life-size cars made of legos along with new challenges, areas, and more. Launches sometime this week.

The company announced a partnership with Smilegate along with a trailer for Crossfire X. Coming sometime in 2020.

DLC is coming to the Handsome Collection with a focus on Lilith. The new expansion is called Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary. The free DLC includes A new rarity for loot called effervescent, new guns, new skins, and a level cap raise that allows for two overpowered levels. Players can also start a character at level 30.

Trailer for the FromSoftware and George RR Martin game

The collaboration is happening. Not much is known yet about this new fantasy, but the title is called Elden Ring, and we can all imagine something twisted will come from this partnership.

Streaming for Xbox

With the new console streaming option, players can stream their games from their Xbox One. This free update comes this Oct.

Trailer for the Future

A trailer showed people from the team at Xbox to talk about the next console generation. A lot of jargon was thrown out there, but the primary emphasis was on 120 FPS, 8K resolution, and no loading screens for any game.

The codename is Project Scarlett, it will arrive in winter 2020.

Trailer for Halo Infinite

We still don’t know what the new Halo will look like, but things have gone downhill, so the one man army Master Chief needs to correct the course of the universe.
