After years of being an Xbox exclusive, Microsoft opened the gates to PC gamers to play the Halo Master Chief Collection from its store and Steam. To celebrate the momentous port, I am curious to see what game in the sci-fi FPS is the best and worst. Sure, I have my opinions, but I want to know what critics have to say, so let’s head to Metacritic to see what experts think.
This will focus on the main titles in the franchise, meaning the strategy spinoff Halo Wars will not be included here. Only Halo games included in the MCC, along with the fifth entry, will get ranked.
Also, every game will be based on its original release. All of OGs will get evaluated based on the first Xbox, not any remasters or ports.
